Job summary

SLT Tribeca & NoHo is hiring part-time, non-exempt fitness studio staff to join our growing team. You will greet clients, provide exceptional service, present class options, and deliver Megaformer demos to new clients while supporting instructors for a smooth class experience.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily studio operations, maintaining Mariana Tek proficiency, and helping with opening/closing tasks. Enjoy perks like free classes and NYC wellness discounts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage clients in a positive and friendly manner.

• Maintain knowledge of Mariana Tek system.
• Assist with day-to-day studio operations.
• Respond promptly to studio emails; notify Studio Manager as needed.
• Maintain SLT product knowledge and retail policies.
• Perform basic Megaformer machine maintenance.
• Keep studio clean and organized between classes.
• Assist in end-of-month retail inventory.
• Open and/or close the studio; complete checklists.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Reports To: Downtown Area Manager

Employment Status: Part Time/Non-Exempt

Location: SLT Tribeca & NoHo

SLT is looking for people who are motivated, welcoming, and passionate about fitness to join our Tribeca & NoHo team. Do you love fitness, community, and results? Then we want you to become a part of our growing SLTeam!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet and engage clients in a positive and friendly manner
• Provide the highest level of client/customer service and hospitality to all clients/prospective clients
• Share pricing and class information with prospective clients
• Deliver Megaformer machine demos to new clients
• Complete studio tours with new clients
• Work alongside and support SLT instructors to ensure a successful and seamless client check-in and class experience
• Ensure complete knowledge of Mariana Tek system
• Assist Management with day-to-day operations of the studio
• Ensure prompt response to studio emails; notify Studio Manager if needed
• Understand SLT product knowledge, policies and procedures for retail operations
• Complete basic Megaformer machine maintenance
• Actively maintain studio cleanliness and organization between each class so each client receives the best SLT experience
• Assist in retail inventory at the end of the month
• Complete opening and/or closing checklists
• Perform other studio duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Mariana Tek software experience a plus
• Leadership experience a plus
• Must have superior customer service skills
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a service-oriented outlook
• Must be highly organized
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team
• Should have a strong ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients and senior management
• Must be able to move and/or lift heavy items, up to 50 lbs.

WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available to work:
  • Minimum of two shifts per week; minimum 4 hours each
  • Ability to work flexible hours; early morning/late night/weekends
  • Some holidays (open year-round)
