TransPerfect Translations International is seeking a Client Services Associate in New York. You will serve as the first point of contact for existing clients, coordinating language projects and managing client communications.

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
• Customer service and/or project management experience
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task
• Working knowledge of MS Office
• Ability to prioritize and schedule tasks and work in a team environment
• Willing to learn new things and thrive on challenges

Mansioni

• Respond to client requests for new project initiatives through our centralized technology
• Collaborate with production team to assess scope and produce cost and timeline estimates for translation projects
• Initiate project work with budget, schedule and instructions to the team, anticipating potential roadblocks
• Address pitfalls and resolve issues with the client before submission to production
• Set up production team/individual projects for success
• Learn about clients’ industry and business needs; educate the project team
• Monitor progress; ensure deadlines and budgets; deliver high quality deliverables
• Serve as the central contact between external clients and internal production staff
• Set and fulfill client expectations
• Comply with ISO standards
• Troubleshoot problem projects
• Understand and communicate project instructions to production team
• Investigate client complaints as applicable
• Discuss issues with clients and production staff to problem solve
