Job Description:
The Project Director, Client Services will serve as the Service Delivery point of contact on project work. The project lead will:
- Exemplify a positive and professional “Client Experience” and engage the “love the customer” philosophy.
- Successfully manage assigned client account relationships and/or large complex matters.
- Work within the Client Services team framework to engage Project Managers, Senior Project Managers, and CSDs as appropriate.
The successful candidate must have a project leadership and professional background in the electronic discovery industry. Above all, the project lead has a strong track record of service delivery and service orientation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Owns projects that require senior-level knowledge, assistance, and direction.
- Defines a project staffing plan that will encompass project requirements and milestones.
- Demonstrates subject matter expertise on Client ECA, custom review tools including but not limited to Epiq Analytics, Relativity Analytics, Intelligent Voice, Nexidia, and other applications or services as necessary and available.
- Coordinates activities of Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the delivery of services in accordance with EPIQ’s best practices and client account and project expectations.
- Serves as the primary liaison with key client representatives and owns the service delivery for assigned client projects.
- Works with Business Development Managers to ensure all assigned client accounts have an account plan for which the Client Services aspect has been completed.
Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensures that new team members are appropriately instructed on project requirements.
- Works with clients to establish best practices which meet client needs and address any prioritization issues that may arise on projects.
- Manages and reports to clients on budget and financial status.
- Ensures that client and project requirements are being met by meeting regularly with assigned Project Managers and Senior Project Managers.
- Instills confidence in the client and serves as the public face of Epiq’s high-quality service delivery offering.
- Consistently delivers proactive communication with clients and serves as initial point of escalation when necessary.
- Manages the seamless onboarding of new clients and projects upon completion of the sales process.

Required Qualifications & Characteristics
- Deep understanding of eDiscovery and litigation support industry with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
- Proven leadership and staff development skills.
- Success in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with confident executive presence.
- Excellent client relationship skills.
- Understanding of database design, data processing, and legal document review.
- Ability to oversee all aspects of project control from planning to final delivery.
Background in candidates for this opportunity
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD, MBA or similar advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years in consulting, litigation support, or legal environments.

The compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $175,000 annually, potentially with an annual bonus. Salary will be determined based on location, abilities, performance, and pay parity.
