Job summary

Toppan Merrill is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our Sartell, MN or Ohio team. You will be the primary contact for clients, handling orders, resolving issues, and coordinating with production and fulfillment to ensure accurate, timely service.

The role requires strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work arrangement applies with onsite presence required on select days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• Previous experience in customer service, client services, order management, inside sales support, fulfillment, print services, manufacturing support, or related operational environments preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically when addressing unique customer situations rather than relying on scripted responses.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing demands, and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, reliability, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for customer inquiries related to orders, products, services, and account support.
• Process, validate, and manage customer orders with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Research, troubleshoot, test, and resolve customer issues while ensuring timely follow-up and communication.
• Coordinate with fulfillment, production, operations, and other internal teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure successful order completion.
• Maintain accurate customer records, order documentation, and account information within company systems.
• Prepare customer correspondence, provide order status updates, and communicate service solutions professionally through phone, email, and internal systems.
• Learn and navigate multiple customer and internal platforms to support a variety of client accounts and business requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while maintaining established service and quality standards.
