Job summary

Clean Harbors seeks a Customer Service Representative in Sanford, NC to support technical services managers, service centers, and account managers with billing, customer data, and service coordination.

You will handle quotes, create orders, set up new profiles, and ensure timely billing while maintaining high accuracy in customer records. This is a full-time on-site role with growth potential and comprehensive benefits.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of DOT/RCRA regulations;
• Proficiency in Windows based applications.
• Knowledge of disposal technologies and waste class codes, and T+D and CleanPack service lines.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming customer calls related to service requests, issues, invoice questions, and online service support; route to RSOM when needed.
• Generate quotes to customers based on input from specialists/Account Managers; flag questionable rates for GM review.
• Create sales orders for customer service requests.
• Provide service reports to customers upon request.
• Set up new customer profiles and ensure accurate input in systems.
• Review and process purchase orders and ensure proper pricing.
• Schedule transportation with logistics for disposals.
• Review open sales orders and close where appropriate.
• Assist field technicians with account questions and service orders.
• Ensure accurate billing daily and resolve billing issues promptly.
