California Bank & Trust in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Client Service Associate (Teller) to be the face of the branch, delivering personalized service and guiding clients through daily banking needs with courtesy and accuracy. You will process debit and credit transactions, open and maintain accounts, resolve issues, and identify cross-sell opportunities to meet client goals.

The role travels to nearby branches within a 30-mile radius when needed in a robust, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and 0-1+ years banking, cashiering, customer service, balancing, or other related experience
• Advance knowledge of cashiering, balancing, debits, credits, bank products, and/or banking
• Working knowledge of math
• Must have solid balancing and customer service skills
• Ability to cross-sell bank products based on clients’ needs

Responsibilities

• Responsible for accurately processing debit and credit transactions in compliance with established policies and procedures, while maintaining an acceptable balancing record
• Identifies and addresses clients’ needs by providing a variety of services which may include opening new accounts, issuing counter checks, performing account maintenance, issuing/activation of ATM cards, performing money transfers, ordering checks, receiving loan payments, etc.
• Resolve clients’ problems either through direct personal action or referral to alternative branch or bank resources
• Identifies and maximizes cross-selling bank opportunities through exploring needs
• You may be reassigned to an alternate location depending on business needs within a reasonable distance (30 miles of branch location) and given proper notice
• Other duties as assigned
