Job summary

California Bank & Trust in Mountain View, CA seeks a Customer-focused Client Service Associate (Teller) to be the face of the branch, delivering personal service and helping clients with daily banking needs.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, opening accounts, cross-selling products, and resolving issues. The role requires a High School Diploma and 6+ months banking or cashiering experience, with Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ months cashiering, customer service, balancing, or related experience.
• Working knowledge of math and banking basics.

Responsibilities

• Process debit and credit transactions accurately per policy and maintain balancing records.
• Identify and address clients' needs by offering services (new accounts, transfers, checks, loan payments, etc.).
• Resolve client problems directly or by referral to branch resources.
• Identify and maximize cross-sell opportunities based on client needs.
• May be reassigned to an alternate branch within ~30 miles with notice.
• Other duties as assigned.
