Job summary

VCA White Lake Animal Hospital is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our team. You will be the face of the practice, welcoming clients, guiding pets to exam rooms, and handling payments.

This role requires strong communication, dependability, teamwork, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment focused on exceptional client service, patient care, and education. You will schedule appointments, perform follow-ups, upsell products and services, and maintain medical records

Responsibilities

• Greeting visitors and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees and processing payments.
• Recommending and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Educating clients on pet care (heartworm prevention, housebreaking, flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Maintaining a clean and neat facility inside and outside the hospital.

VCA White Lake Animal Hospital is looking to add a Client Service Representative to our team.

The ideal candidate should understand the importance of strong work ethics, dependability, teamwork, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. Why We Need You

As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer’s trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

• Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
• Scheduling and confirming appointments.
• Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
• Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
• Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
• Answering questions regarding products and services, including educating clients on general animal husbandry and pet care (i.e., heartworm prevention, housebreaking, and flea & tick control).
• Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
• Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times—both inside and outside.

Salary starting at $16.00
