Job summary

Cheektowaga Veterinary Hospital in the Buffalo area is seeking a part-time Client Service Representative. You will greet clients, manage records, answer questions about basic pet care, and assist with invoices at a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous veterinary receptionist experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls quickly, efficiently and professionally.
• Warmly greet clients.
• Receive and relay client correspondence and update client records.
• Answer inquiries about basic animal care and routine procedures.
• Educate clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions.
• Admit patients and enter medical records.
• Prepare client invoices for services performed.
• Receive and relay telephone, fax, and email messages promptly.

Client Service Representative

$18.00 - $21.00 per hour

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Answerstelephone calls quickly, efficiently and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
• Warmly greets clients
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
• Answers client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
• Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
• Prepares client invoices for services performed
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

REQUIREMENTS

• Highschool diploma or equivalent
• Previousexperience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but notrequired
• Significant experiencewith basic office functions in a busy office environment
• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
• Part-Time hours; approximately 15-20 hours per week (evenings and Saturday help preferred)
