VCA Capeway Animal Hospital is seeking an energetic Client Service Representative to join our seven‑doctor small animal practice in Fairhaven, MA. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, up‑beat addition to the VCA Capeway Animal Hospital's Client Service Representative team! The Client Service Representative (CSR) serves as the face of the hospital. The CSR is responsible for greeting clients, offering refreshments, checking patients in, answering a multi‑line phone system in a professional manner, scheduling appointments, preparing medications, and serving as a liaison between clients and doctors. Other duties include confirming appointments, relaying basic lab results, responding to text messages and emails, and handing out treats and showing compassion to our furry patients.
This position is full‑time, 35–40 hours per week, and follows a 4‑day work week. Scheduled workdays include Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday. When you are scheduled to work a Saturday, you will receive an additional weekday off during that week.
This is primarily a closing shift. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, the shift typically starts at 9:00am and ends around 7:30pm. Friday start times vary and are typically 7:20am, 7:45am, or 8am, with an expected end time around 6:00pm. Saturday shifts generally run from 7:45am to approximately 4pm.

The salary range for this position is $16 – $23.51 / hour.
