Job summary

Florida Veterinary Rehabilitation is seeking a Client Care Specialist/Veterinary Receptionist in Deland, FL. You will greet clients, manage appointments, and support doctors and staff with professional, friendly service.

The role requires empathy, clear communication, and multitasking in a fast-paced clinic environment. In-person work is required Tuesday through Saturday with a 35–40 hour work week.

Qualifications

• Ability to think critically while solving client needs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer and technical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Sit and/or stand for long periods.
• Reliable to work Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments.
• Check in/out patients.
• Complete follow up and reminder calls.
• Maintain internal communication with doctors and staff.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, text and in person.
• Answer client questions with confidence.
• Troubleshoot client issues and escalate when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Client Care Specialist/Veterinary Receptionist you will:

Be the face of the office

Greet clients in a friendly and professional manner

Have empathy for both our clients and your team members

Speak in a clear and concise manner that is easy for clients to understand

Be a team player, well organized, self-motivated, and able to multi-task

Continue to learn and grow with our team

The position includes the following duties and responsibilities:

Scheduling appointments

Checking in/out patients

Completing follow up and reminder calls

Maintaining internal communication with the doctors and staff

Communicating with clients via phone, email, text, and in person

Able to answer client questions with confidence

Troubleshoot client issues and know when to partner internally for escalations

Other duties as assigned

Front Desk: 2 Years (required)
