Grady Veterinary Hospital in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Client Service Representative to join our AAHA-accredited 24/7 emergency and general practice team.

As the first contact for clients, you will handle calls, greet clients, prepare patient files, process payments, and manage communications while delivering compassionate service for pets and their families. This is a part-time role with weekday evenings and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience as veterinary receptionist/CSR preferred but not required.
• Must be a team player with compassion for pets and their people.

Responsibilities

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
• Warmly greets clients
• Prepares patient files
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
• Answers client's inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
• Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
• Prepares client invoices for services performed
• Handles payment transactions
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly
• Individual clinics to add info that's specific to their hiring needs

Client Service Representative

$20.00-$25.00 hourly pay rate based on experienced

Specific Hours: Mondays 3pm-9pm, Thursdays 3pm-9pm, Fridays 3pm-9pm, Saturdays 12pm-8pm

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Answers telephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system

REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent


• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is preferred but not required


• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment


• Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
