Grady Veterinary Hospital (GVH) in Cincinnati, Ohio, is seeking passionate Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our 24-hour AAHA-accredited hospital. This role offers diverse cases, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a busy practice.

We require a valid Ohio Veterinary Technician license and a commitment to high-quality patient care, with weekend shifts and a 2nd shift schedule as part of our hospital operations.

Board-certified specialists have graduated from veterinary school, completed several additional years in an internship and residency program, and have passed rigorous training and testing in specific areas, including surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, or neurology.

We are looking for passionate, driven, dedicated Registered Veterinary Technicians to join our 24-hour AAHA accredited hospital.

Ideal candidates must be:

• A Registered Veterinary Technician as outlined by the OVMA
• Interested in working in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent Attendance
• Enjoys Client Education and communication
• Compassionate and have strong technical skills
• Embrace opportunities to work in general preventative care as well as emergency services
• Able to remain calm in emergency situations, with strong multi-tasking skills
• Able to understand the importance of upholding AAHA patient care standards with outstanding customer service
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Value Continued Education

Our Registered Veterinary Technicians provide outstanding, quality patient care. They are responsible for responding quickly and calmly to the needs of our patients and clients. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly with our clients and other staff members and they must be able to anticipate the needs of our veterinarians. Candidate must be extremely reliable and licensed in the State of Ohio. This is a 2nd shift position which includes weekend shifts.

Schedule:

• Shift options based on hospital need:

7-3pm, 11-7pm, 1-11pm, 4pm-4am, 7pm-7am, 9pm-7am

• Sunday - Saturday options

• Flexible Schedule - Weekend rotation required

• 8-hour shift

• 10-hour shift

• 12-hour shift

Job Type:

Full-time/Part-time

Pay: $26 - $30 per hour

*Our rate of pay is commensurate on experience and specialty distinction*

Education:

• Veterinary Technology Associate Degree (Required)

License/Certification:
