Job summary

Relation Insurance Inc. in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Client Service Specialist for the Small Business Unit to manage administrative tasks for policy servicing, endorsements, renewals, and client records.

You will process filings, enter data into carrier websites, issue certificates, and support back‑office processes to ensure accurate, timely service. The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year in customer service, and knowledge of insurance markets.

Qualifications

• Property and Casualty license within 90 days of hire.
• AINS and/or CISR designation preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; location dependent.
• 1+ year experience in Customer Service preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance markets, products, services, ratings and underwriting preferred.
• Working knowledge of commercial lines of coverage preferred.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; able to learn new software.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations and updates in the agency system.
• Enter and rate policies on carrier websites and issue certificates of insurance.
• Monitor payment statuses to prevent cancellations and notify the manager of risks.
• Track claims and update the system with activity and closures.
• Audit verification and billing review; send audit letters to clients.
• Support mail processing and cover phone/walk-in traffic as needed.
• Adopt AI tools into the service process to enhance client experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
