Job summary

Western Alliance Bancorporation seeks a Client Relationship Manager I in Houston, TX to manage client relationships and deliver exceptional service. You’ll lead product efficiency projects and partner with business development staff on new business conversations with existing or prospective clients.

You will support Corporate Trust clients, maintain relationships, review new relationships, and ensure risk- and service-focused operations across deals, with potential revenue goals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience in Corporate Trust or a similar field.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and ensure excellent client service and delivery to the client base, driving product efficiency projects and potentially leading other business-related projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Corporate Trust clients; review and accept new relationships based on policy and procedures.
• Provide quality service aligned to client needs; mitigate risks and coordinate operational changes; may meet revenue, new business and expense goals.
• Review client reporting and coordinate with clients and involved parties; respond to queries and provide required information.
