The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for delivering recognition targets and positioning the PTE suite of tests as the tests of choice within institutions. They will work with institutions to raise the profile of PTE and related testing products, building brand awareness and demand for English language tests within their territory.

The role involves collaboration with ELL colleagues globally to drive activity between sending and receiving markets. The manager will represent the US interests in product development and provide market information to the business.

This is a remote/home-based position with approximately 25% travel, including visits to college campuses and national meetings. Please note that relocation packages are not offered. The ideal candidate should be based in or around:

  • Chicago, IL
  • Miami, FL
  • Dallas, TX

Main Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a tactical plan across higher education institutions to secure endorsement and use of the PTE portfolio.
  2. Build and manage relationships with university staff to increase awareness and endorsement of the PTE portfolio.
  3. Use sales and influencing skills to develop university relationships and demonstrate benefits of the PTE portfolio.
  4. Connect with faculty/staff through campus visits and virtual events, employing effective consultative sales techniques.
  5. Proactively expand brand and product awareness with external stakeholders, including education associations and recruiting agents.
  6. Showcase the PTE portfolio at industry conferences and events.
  7. Support universities through workshops and seminars on English language testing.
  8. Stay informed about developments in higher education, competitor activity, and Pearson products.
  9. Collaborate with key regions to grow US-bound test takers.
  10. Support universities with score verification, recruitment, and admissions.
  11. Maintain accurate tracking and forecasting in Salesforce (OneCRM).
  12. Demonstrate organizational and follow-up skills.
  13. Deliver presentations via conferences, webinars, or social platforms.
  14. Understand market dynamics and how our value proposition benefits customers.
  15. Prioritize customer needs and promote teamwork.

Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. The pay range in certain states is $55,000 - $60,000. The role is eligible for a sales incentive plan. Benefits details are available here.
