Job summary

Truist in the United States is seeking a Branch Teller to deliver timely and accurate client service while handling transactions and maintaining records. You will contribute to a consistent, high-quality client experience across all interactions.

You will educate clients on digital banking options, assist with outbound outreach and IRM activities, and collaborate with branch teams to meet client needs while following controls and risk policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required; may include locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling transactions; complex transactions with assistance as needed.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking to enhance their service experience.
• Support team sales process by outbound client outreach, checking for offers, and identifying client needs or opportunities for referral.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions for clients' needs.
• Participate in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve consumers and business clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk policies; stay informed on policy changes.
