Description
This position is a member of the client service team and works closely with Wealth Advisors, Financial Planners, clients, and several departments within the firm. The role plays a critical part in supporting client service, retention, and business growth.
- Act as the primary point of contact and demonstrate a client-first attitude, addressing client inquiries and concerns.
- Assist with all facets of new client onboarding including opening accounts, establishing client portal access, and managing account transfers and documents.
- Manage client information within the CRM, maintaining profiles, information, and activities.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients.
- Resolve and troubleshoot client issues promptly and effectively.
- Inform clients about new products and services.
- Work to meet and anticipate the needs of the Advisors and clients.
- Handle distribution and money movement requests.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, custodians, investment managers, and third parties.
- Coordinate client meetings for Advisors and meeting materials with the Client Communications Associate.
- Utilize Bartlett’s compliance software for recordkeeping.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
- Adhere to all regulations and policies.
- Maintain confidentiality, act with integrity, and exercise discretion.
- Work well under pressure and within time constraints.
- Complete tasks independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking in a changing environment.
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate effectively as a team player.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably in financial services or investment management.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel; experience with CRM software (Practifi/Salesforce preferred).
- Strong written communication skills, capable of preparing professional correspondence and documents.
