Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in California is seeking a Relationship Banker at a Chase Branch to represent our brand with hospitality, acquire, manage, and retain client relationships using financial knowledge to offer thoughtful solutions.

You will help clients navigate banking solutions with Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs, learn products quickly, and comply with regulatory requirements while serving weekends/evenings.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking with client acquisition.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients.
• Excellent communication skills, in person and by phone.
• Ability to resolve client issues with attention to detail.
• Operate within risk parameters and complete required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• SIE exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (63 if required), and Life licenses required.
• Unlicensed applicants must obtain licenses through JPMC’s licensing program within 180 days of hire.
• Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations – deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to effectively consult with clients and connect them to experts.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
