Job summary

Truist is hiring for a Regular Teller role in the United States. You will deliver industry-leading client service in person and by phone, build and expand client relationships, and cross-train to perform teller duties as needed.

Responsibilities include handling deposits, credit, and other product lines, meeting sales targets, and referring complex needs to internal specialists. Expect a dynamic branch environment with ongoing training and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests and sales functions.
• Contributes to meeting client service and branch sales targets by developing and expanding relationships.
• Supports sales process by referring complex needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in the branch Leadership routines.
• Continuously develops sales techniques and product knowledge.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Ensures compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Engages clients with courteous service and helps them navigate the branch.
