Job summary

Truist is seeking a Regular, full-time Teller/Client Service Associate to deliver industry-leading service in person or by phone. You will drive client relationship growth by identifying needs, cross-selling suitable products, and coordinating with specialists for complex goals.

Responsibilities include processing teller transactions, advising on consumer lending options, and maintaining compliance with policies. Weekend/extended hours and travel may be required in staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• 2 years of client sales and service experience.
• Experience sourcing and prospecting for new clients.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.
• Must be SAFE compliant within 30 days of employment, including NMLS background checks.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Ability to travel for temporary staffing needs, including locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Exercises advanced proficiency with routine client maintenance requests, problem resolution and advanced sales functions regarding deposit, credit, convenience and other product and service lines.
• Contributes to meeting or exceeding client service as well as branch sales targets by offering products and services with a focus on developing, expanding and retaining relationships.
• Supports team sales process by conducting consultative conversations and referring more complex client needs to internal specialists.
• Participates in all components of the Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advances knowledge of sales techniques and product knowledge via training and meetings.
• Advises on consumer lending options and takes loan applications.
• Adheres to internal controls and risk management policies and stays informed of policy changes.
• Ensures a consistent client service experience during transactions and client navigation in-branch.
