Job summary

Neumo in Birmingham, AL is seeking a customer support specialist to provide quality service for Clients and Taxpayers via phones, email, and correspondence, participate in new client implementations, and serve as the main contact for existing and new clients and services, processing payments and following up for Clients and Supervisors.

You will collaborate with other departments, prepare monthly reports for Accounting, and ensure accurate data entry and timely responses while maintaining

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with business bank reconciliation preferred.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Inbound/outbound telephone customer service, handle support emails, refunds, research, resolve, and record problems.
• Work in conjunction with other departments for training, data entry, taxpayer support and communications.
• Review ordinances/acts/legislation to become familiar with requirements, rates, municipal workflows, and representatives of city/county government.
• Responsible for providing monthly (or as requested) reports to the Accounting Department.
• Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly distribution of recon reports.
• Assist with research for client requests.
• Assist staff in research, resolve and record problems.
• Always ensure quality customer support for Avenu clients (and taxpayers) through email and phone system.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
