Job summary

DV Trading seeks a Client Platforms Engineer to join its IT support team in Chicago. You will be the first contact for end-users, diagnose issues, manage incidents, fulfill requests, and maintain knowledge base articles to improve service delivery.

Responsibilities include incident management, asset tracking, and collaboration with other IT teams while ensuring excellent customer service and clear communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a Service Desk Engineer or similar IT support role.
• Solid knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and incident management procedures.
• Experience with endpoint management tools SCCM, Intune, and Jamf.

Responsibilities

• First Point of Contact: handle end-user requests via phone, tickets, email, Slack, or in-person and route in the ticketing system.
• Technical Troubleshooting: diagnose hardware, software, and application problems and escalate when needed.
• Incident Management: follow procedures to resolve issues and keep users informed of progress.
• Request Fulfillment: perform password resets, software installs, access permissions, and hardware configurations promptly.
• Documentation: maintain records of incidents and service requests; create knowledge base articles.
• IT Asset Management: assist in inventory, tracking, and allocation of licenses.
• Continuous Improvement: participate in training and propose process improvements.
• Customer Service: provide exceptional service with strong interpersonal skills.
• Communication: translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: work with IT teams to resolve complex issues.
