Job summary

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC is seeking an experienced Client Liaison to serve as an onsite representative at a designated mortgage servicing client location. The role focuses on building relationships, resolving issues, and keeping complex foreclosure processes moving forward with accuracy and compliance.

The successful candidate will work closely with the client and MTG teams to monitor file progression, manage workflow deadlines, and ensure timely communication and reporting across all parties

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in mortgage servicing, foreclosure, default services, banking, or a legal environment strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify issues, take initiative, and work collaboratively toward resolution.
• Ability to work effectively in an onsite client environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as firm’s onsite liaison and primary point of contact for assigned foreclosure matters.
• Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with mortgage servicing personnel and firm attorneys and staff.
• Monitor foreclosure files from referral through key milestones to help ensure timely and accurate progression.
• Coordinate communication between the client and firm regarding file status, documentation, outstanding requirements, and escalated issues.
• Review file information, documentation, and servicing system data for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage assigned tasks, events, holds, exceptions, and other workflow requirements within established deadlines.
• Ensure client and servicing systems are updated accurately and timely.
• Identify potential delays, quality concerns, or compliance issues and work with appropriate teams to resolve them.
• Monitor attorney and vendor activity and escalated issues when appropriate.
• Assist with reporting, portfolio reviews, audits, and special projects.
• Collaborate with internal and external business partners to improve workflow, minimize delays, and mitigate risk.
• Maintain working knowledge of investor, insurer, regulatory, client, and state-specific foreclosure requirements.
• Provide responsive, professional communication consistent with the firm’s 24-hour response expectation.

McMichael Taylor Gray, LLC (MTG) is seeking an experienced and professional Client Liaison to serve as an onsite representative of the firm at a designated mortgage servicing client location. This is a unique opportunity for someone with a background in mortgage servicing, foreclosure, default operations, banking, or legal services who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and keeping complex processes moving forward. The Client Liaison will work closely with both the client and MTG teams to support the firm’s foreclosure portfolio and ensure matters are handled accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable requirements. As the connection between MTG and the client, this individual will play an important role in facilitating communication, resolving issues, monitoring file progression, and helping both teams maintain a high level of service and compliance.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in mortgage servicing, foreclosure, default services, banking, or a legal environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with foreclosure and mortgage default processes, including bankruptcy and loss mitigation, preferred.
• Experience with LPS/ICE or similar mortgage servicing systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify issues, take initiative, and work collaboratively toward resolution.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively and professionally in an onsite client environment.
