Job summary

Paychex is seeking an HR Consultant to provide expert consultation on human resource matters, best practices, and employee handbook options. You will address compliance concerns related to state and federal employment laws, ensuring clients are well-informed and compliant.

Responsibilities include advising clients, resolving inquiries, and building strong relationships while staying current on employment law trends to support internal partners and clients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in client service, HR, or related fields.
• Knowledge of employment law compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on HR matters and employee handbook options.
• Address client inquiries on HR and employment law using appropriate resources.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver high-quality service to maintain satisfaction and retention.
• Stay informed on changes in employment law and convey state and federal regulations to clients and partners.
• Assist with client handbook creation and updates in collaboration with clients.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to support clients with available products and services.
• Assist with billing inquiries and account information as needed.
• Participate in special projects as assigned.
