Job summary

Paychex seeks an experienced HR consultant to provide expert advice on human resource matters, best practices, and employee handbook options. You will address compliance concerns related to state and federal employment laws, keeping clients well-informed and compliant.

The role focuses on building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality service while staying current on evolving employment regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred.
• 1 year of experience in Client Service, Human Resources, HR Education, or a related combination.
• Innovation and consulting experience preferred.
• Customer service and billing experience preferred.
• Labor law knowledge and objection-handling skills preferred.
• Strong communication and outbound call abilities.
• Experience in call centers and content creation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Advises clients on HR matters, best practices, and employee handbook options.
• Addresses and resolves client inquiries about HR and employment law.
• Builds strong client relationships and delivers high-quality service.
• Keeps current on employment law trends and state/federal regulations.
• Offers innovative solutions and overcomes client objections.
• Follows up with clients on HR or employment law topics as needed.
• Supports client handbook creation and updates with relevant information.
• Handles inbound/outbound calls to support clients with products and services.
• Assists with client billing inquiries and account information.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
