Job summary

Paychex in Rochester, NY seeks an HR services professional to maintain relationships with client contacts and act as the primary HR service contact. You will collaborate with internal partners to ensure quality client service and support.

Responsibilities include remote and in-person client service, guidance on performance management, recruiting, compensation, and employee engagement, and support for EPLI insurance enrollment when needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent
• 1-3 years HR experience or equivalent
• Customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of HR policies and labor laws helpful

Responsibilities

• Serves clients remotely and in-person; provides consultative guidance to resolve HR issues.
• Advises clients on performance management, recruiting, retention, compensation, and employee development.
• Supports PEO clients with EPLI insurance setup and enrollment decisions.
• Communicates HR policies and interprets procedures; guides employee relations issues.
• Provides turnover analysis and unemployment escalation assistance.
• Keeps abreast of HR trends and conducts training as resources allow.
• Promotes high-quality customer service to clients.
