Job summary

Paychex seeks an HR Services Consultant to ensure client satisfaction and deliver consultative HR support to mid-size clients. You will maintain ongoing relationships, collaborate with internal partners, and guide clients on HR strategies and programs.

The role emphasizes performance management, employee engagement, and benefits guidance, with potential EPLI setup support and annual HR strategy planning. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and 3–5 years of HR experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years HR experience or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Multitasking and written communication skills desirable.
• Experience in Employee Relations and Performance Management beneficial.
• Knowledge of benefits enrollment and EPLI helpful.
• Familiarity with HR strategy and client services advantageous.
• Spanish/English bilingual skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves clients remotely and in person across multiple states, providing consultative HR guidance.
• Delivers guidance on Performance Management, Recruiting, Retention strategies, Compensation, and Employee Engagement.
• Supports PEO clients with EPLI insurance setup with internal partners.
• Conducts open enrollment meetings and advises on benefit plan choices.
• Communicates HR policies and offers recommendations for employee relations issues.
• Provides turnover analysis and unemployment escalation assistance.
• Keeps abreast of HR trends and conducts relevant training.
• Mentors HR Coordinators and Associate Client HR Business Partners.
• Leads annual HR Strategy Sessions for each client.
