Job summary

Absolute Storage Management is seeking an Assistant Manager (Client Happiness Hero) in Lyles, TN. You will assist customers with renting storage units in person or by phone, identify storage needs, and guide customers through the rental process.

Role involves maintaining a clean office, handling cash daily, and coordinating with marketing and operations. A background in sales or retail and at least one year of property management experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or retail
• Experience in fast-paced, customer service-related environment
• Property Manager: at least one year of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with renting units in-person and via phone; enhance sales with rentals, insurance, and moving supplies
• Provide excellent customer service by identifying storage needs and guiding customers through rental processes
• Resolve issues professionally and positively
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the office and grounds; keep records and perform minor maintenance tasks
• Shop local competitors in-person and online; report information to supervisors and other departments; perform marketing functions as needed
• Monitor rates, specials, and revenue-related factors
• Perform daily administrative tasks including handling cash, balancing receipts, pursuing collections, posting payments, deposits, and auctions
• Assist tenants with rentals through programs such as U-Haul, Penske, or company-owned services when applicable
