Job summary

Barnes & Thornburg LLP is seeking a Client Growth Specialist to support the firm's Client Growth and Marketing team. You will assist Senior Client Growth Managers and Client Growth Managers in executing strategic objectives to target new business and cross-sell to existing clients across the firm’s 50 practices and 26 markets.

Reporting to the Senior Client Growth Manager, you will coordinate pitches, proposals, events, and thought leadership activities, leveraging research tools to identify

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible, related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience in a professional services role.
• Strong business acumen and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proven ability to build relationships across all levels and work independently or in a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients, lawyers, and staff.
• Ability to leverage research and competitive intelligence for opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Works with assigned practice groups to support initiatives driving new business from existing clients and prospects.
• Assist in driving business development goals, including conferences, events, seminars, webinars and thought leadership.
• Collaborates with Communications, Public Relations, Event Management, and Graphic Design to tailor messaging.
• Prepares pitches and proposals and serves as QC for content and experience management.
• Executes ROI data input for pitches, proposals, sponsorships, memberships, and related activities.
• Assists in routine business development-related administrative reports and presentations.
• Coordinates lawyer ranking submissions and industry/practice relationships.
• Develops plans for thought leadership, events, and sponsorship strategies.
