Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York is seeking a Relationship Banker to represent the Chase brand at a busy branch. You will acquire, manage, and retain client relationships while delivering thoughtful financial solutions using Chase's modern digital tools.

You will advise clients on banking products, collaborate with product experts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, while providing exceptional hospitality and service to every client interaction.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services with proven success in establishing new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results.
• Ability to create memorable experiences for clients – elevate the client experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with proven ability to tailor features and benefits to clients with differing needs.
• Ability to quickly and effectively resolve client issues with attention to detail – providing consistent client experience.
• Operate within established risk parameters/tolerances and meet internal/external risk and compliance obligations, including completion of required training.
• High school degree, GED, or foreign equivalent.
• The Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses are minimum requirements; licenses must be obtained within 180 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Put clients first and exceed their expectations - deliver attentive and friendly service, creating a welcoming environment.
• Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them, both in person and over the phone, to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations.
• Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust – ask questions and listen to understand, anticipate their needs.
• Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to help them with their banking needs whenever, wherever, and however they want.
• Learn products, services, and procedures quickly and accurately to effectively consult with clients about banking solutions, as well as collaborate with and connect them to our team of experts to help with specialized financial needs.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements.
