Job summary

Brown & Brown seeks an Implementation Specialist to join our National Employee Benefits Technology (EBTech) team. Configure and maintain client benefit enrollment websites using third-party software platforms and manage low-to-moderate complexity implementations from initial configuration through testing and delivery.

You will analyze client needs, translate requirements into configurations, perform QA testing, troubleshoot issues, and support clients and HR administrators. Travel occasionally (<5%), and collaborate with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• 2-5 years of software implementation or related technology experience.
• Ability to quickly learn new software, processes, and technical concepts.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work within strict deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain client benefit enrollment websites using third-party software platforms.
• Manage low-to-moderate complexity implementations from initial configuration through testing and delivery.
• Analyze client needs and translate requirements into effective system configurations.
• Conduct quality assurance testing and audits to ensure configurations function accurately and meet client requirements.
• Troubleshoot system and configuration issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop effective solutions.
• Serve as a knowledgeable resource during client meetings and implementation discussions.
• Provide day-to-day support to assigned clients and proactively respond to client questions and needs.
• Partner directly with clients, vendors, carriers, and internal teams throughout the implementation process.
• Train HR administrators on benefits technology platforms, functionality, processes, and applicable benefit program requirements.
• Maintain working knowledge of employee benefits products, services, and technology solutions.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced teammates.
• Follow established standard operating procedures while identifying opportunities to improve processes and efficiencies.
• Support the development and enhancement of SOPs and implementation best practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation within applicable systems and databases.
• Stay current on industry developments, technology, products, legislation, and regulatory requirements.
• Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, accountability, and a positive client-focused environment.
