Job summary

Kelly Benefits in Sparks, MD is seeking an Account Manager II to retain and grow KBS client base by partnering with the Lead Consultant and Sr. Account Manager.

This includes ensuring the ongoing strategy, delivery and management of the client’s unique benefit needs while acting as an ambassador to help continue to grow Kelly Benefits Strategies, “KBS.” The role emphasizes servicing complex benefit programs, enrollment coordination, data accuracy, renewal support and compliance, with hybrid work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent of years of experience.
• Life and Health Insurance licensed preferred, but at a minimum, must attain within 60 days of hire date.
• 2+ years of employee benefits account management, benefits administration, insurance brokerage, or related experience.
• Experience working with medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and voluntary benefit plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned employee benefits clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Schedule regular client meetings to review benefits programs, service needs, and upcoming renewal activities.
• Respond promptly to client inquiries and resolve issues related to the client’s benefits package and carrier services.
• Contribute to the renewal process and collaborate with internal teams on client deliverables.
