Job summary

Truist in Monroe, NC is seeking a Regular full-time teller to deliver high-quality service by completing complex and standard transactions while uncovering client needs. You will educate customers on ATM, Online, and Mobile banking, and participate in outbound outreach to grow relationships.

The role requires strong communication, PC and branch-automation skills, and flexibility to work weekends or extended hours with occasional travel. This position emphasizes IRM and risk-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Two years teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office).
• Willingness to travel for temporary staffing needs and locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with possible travel/overnights.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience and handle transactions while identifying client needs.
• Educate clients on digital self-service solutions including ATMs and Online/Mobile banking.
• Support sales by outbound client outreach and referring to branch specialists as needed.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training to advance product knowledge and service capabilities.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new accounts and issue resolution.
