Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 6 months cash-handling, retail, or teller experience required.
• Previous sales and referral experience strongly preferred.
• Must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local banking laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional client interactions emphasizing accuracy, speed, problem resolution, risk mitigation, and personalized engagement.
• Handle client transactions including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, card advances, money orders, negotiable items, and loan payments.
• Respond to servicing requests with product knowledge to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Build and grow client relationships through high-quality, personalized interactions in-person and via outbound calls.
• Educate clients on digital banking solutions to promote self-service adoption.
• Refer clients to internal partners as needs are identified.
• Support branch operations including opening/closing, vault management, night depository, balancing, and workstation prep.
• Assist in managing operational loss through fraud detection and appropriate overrides; maintain balancing standards.
• Uphold risk management, compliance, and security standards; ensure professional appearance and conduct.
• Actively manage lobby by greeting and guiding client traffic.
• Perform research and special projects as directed by management.
