Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in the United States is seeking an Associate Banker to deliver welcoming, attentive service and build trusted client relationships. You will guide clients through day-to-day banking, open accounts, and leverage Chase digital tools to enhance every interaction.

You will collaborate with branch teammates to meet clients' financial goals and ensure compliance with policies and procedures while maintaining a high standard of hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to learn products, services and procedures.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by delivering attentive and friendly service, greeting clients as they enter the branch, making them feel heard and cared for, leveraging a tablet to manage lobby traffic, checking clients into the waiting queue, and scheduling or canceling client meetings.
• Exceed client expectations by providing account servicing and maintenance as well as opening new accounts, while complying with all policies, procedures, regulatory and banking requirements.
• Educate and assist clients with day‑to‑day banking transactions, including the use of technology self‑service options such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients by actively listening, asking thoughtful questions, demonstrating empathy, and sharing product knowledge and solutions – partnering with other branch team members to help achieve their financial goals.
• Perform branch operations, which may include managing cash devices such as the cash vault and ATM, adhering to all bank policies and procedures.
