Job summary

Ocean Computer Group, a Lockstep Technology Group company, is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join our Matawan, New Jersey team. This client-facing role acts as the technical bridge between customers and the Ocean group, collaborating with Account Executives, the vCIO, and technical resources to deliver proactive IT support.

You will guide clients through technical needs, support onboarding and technology reviews, escalate when needed, and identify opportunities to strengthen their IT

Qualifications

• Proven TAM or IT consulting experience with client-facing roles.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VMware, and hardware.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing multiple client relationships and projects.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical bridge between customers and the Ocean team and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Build trusted relationships with client sponsors and key stakeholders.
• Conduct reviews and provide recommendations aligned with client business needs.
• Manage onboarding of new clients, including data collection and tool deployment.
• Escalate issues requiring advanced troubleshooting or vendor involvement.
• Perform technology audits and ensure environments align with best practices.
• Communicate progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time.
