Symmetry Software in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a highly technical, customer-facing engineer to own end-to-end discovery and build live, compliant payroll tooling that cuts manual work and increases client value.

You’ll scope opportunities, run proofs-of-concept, embed with clients, and ship production-grade solutions that scale across engagements. This role blends engineering, solution architecture, and client delivery.

Competenze

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, AI Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
• Experience shipping production systems in client-facing environments with APIs, events, and data modeling.
• Ability to scope ambiguous opportunities and build a business case for subscriptions.
• Experience presenting to engineers and executives and influencing decisions.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with empathy for clients’ compliance automation.

Mansioni

• Scope & qualify technical opportunities and provide feasibility reads to Sales.
• Define the problem with requirements that Sales, Product, and Engineering can align on.
• Build working proof-of-concept when needed for feasibility before full build.
• Translate deployments into a business case justifying subscriptions.
• Own the build by embedding with clients and delivering production-grade code.
• Diagnose data issues and jurisdiction mapping to unblock production.
• Keep teams aligned as requirements evolve mid-engagement.
• Deliver the build and runbook to Client Success for handoff.
• Feedback loops to product and GTM from sales and build motions.
• Create implementation playbooks and deployment documentation.
