Job summary

Imaging Business Machines, LLC. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Software Integration Specialist to work with new clients from kickoff to live processing, configuring the system to meet each client’s unique requirements and delivering initial training and ongoing support.

The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert across hardware platforms, operating systems, databases, and application code (Java/HTML).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS, or 5+ years in solution integration in document imaging.
• 1–3 years in application software support, coding, and/or implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support project management in gathering requirements for the technical design document.
• Define capabilities, performance requirements, and interfaces for end users.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and programmers to design and configure solutions.
• Develop custom application code (Java/HTML) to meet client business rules.
• Deliver training and drive user adoption during implementation.
• Perform root-cause analysis and suggest alternative configurations.
• Maintain broad product and business knowledge and assist with sizing and planning.
