Job summary

ibml is seeking a Software Integration Specialist to drive end-to-end integration for new clients, from kickoff through live processing. You will configure systems, train end users, and collaborate with project managers and client teams to ensure successful implementation.

You will bring hands-on experience across multiple platforms, databases, and operating systems, and you will work with Java, HTML, and relational databases while traveling as needed to support client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or MIS, or 5 years of solution integration experience.
• 1-3 years experience in application software support, coding, and/or implementation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and proposing new strategies.
• Maturity and demeanor to establish immediate professional credibility with clients.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Ability to assess complex situations and facilitate solutions in a collaborative manner.
• Flexible and a self-starter; able to multi-task while also being highly detail-oriented.
• Experience with Java Development, HTML, relational databases (MS SQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and XML.
• General knowledge of Active Directory, domain security policies.
• Working knowledge of IIS, Apache, and Tomcat.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, Power Point).
• Willingness/Ability to Travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Management in gathering requirements and creating technical design documents.
• Establish project capabilities, performance requirements, and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers and developers to design and configure solutions.
• Develop custom application code (scripts) to meet business rules.
• Synthesize knowledge to plan and execute integration activities with clients.
• Deliver solution configuration and end-user training to drive adoption.
• Conduct training sessions remotely or on-site to enable setup and configuration.
• Resolve client inquiries and maintain ownership through resolution.
• Perform root-cause analysis and suggest alternative configurations.
• Develop and maintain product and business knowledge.
• Assess complex situations and present recommended solutions.
