Job summary

Cook & Boardman, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to oversee planning, implementation and tracking of client-based projects in security, networking and AV systems. You will own the project during implementation, serving as primary contact from setup through commissioning and final sign-off.

The role requires strong scheduling, budgeting and vendor coordination, with on-site Durham, NC operations and collaboration with sales and technical teams to deliver quality, on-time results.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Computers literacy and basic technical aptitude.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders and ensure feasibility.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans to monitor progress.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule and costs with verification techniques.
• Serve as primary client contact during implementation.
• Coordinate with sales, client and all stakeholders.
• Establish relationships with third parties and vendors.
• Create and maintain project documentation and close-out activities.
