Job summary

Brady Integrated Security in North Carolina seeks a Security Project Specialist II to manage installations of access control, CCTV, intercom, and intrusion systems for small to mid-size sites. You will coordinate with customer IT, wire, and program devices, while ensuring NEC70 compliance and proper network integration.

This role involves mentoring installers, building client relationships, reporting to Brady management, and traveling up to 20% to project sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of maintenance or installation in security systems.
• Knowledge of networking LAN, WAN and mesh devices.
• Familiarity with IPv4 and IPv6 IP addresses, MAC IDs, and how they interact with servers and field devices.
• Configure unmanaged network POE switches, and work with managed switches with the customer IT department.
• Familiarity with CCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm systems (brand examples listed).
• Proficiency with computer devices and Microsoft Office/iOS.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Must possess North Carolina Alarm Registrant within 30-days of hire.
• Must possess OSHA 10 or 30.
• Must possess one or more manufacturer certifications in access control and CCTV.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to prove US employment eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and develop installers assigned to your team.
• Interface with customer personnel and build relationships, providing training as needed.
• Troubleshoot with manufacturer technical support.
• Drill holes for wiring and install per NEC70 requirements.
• Wiring of installed systems conforming to NEC70.
• Run EMT/ENT conduit per NEC70.
• Test circuits and sensors with meters and testers.
• Turnkey installation of access control, CCTV, intercom, intrusion, and fire alarm per design docs.
• Attend job site meetings and study documents to determine materials and procedures.
• Provide daily/weekly reports to Brady management.
• Travel 20% as required.
