Job summary

State Street seeks a client-facing professional to manage production Charles River IMS systems for multiple clients as part of the SaaS offering. You will provide expert remote management, administration, and support, including user privileges, parameter changes, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities include patching, upgrades, problem resolution, and business continuity. Occasional travel to customer sites may be required; 3+ years in the field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Financial Services Investment Management, Trading or related systems (e.g. Charles River IMS).
• Proven ability to partner with internal departments to deliver superior customer service.
• Experience in MS SQL Server, Oracle, and/or Sybase configuration, operations, and basic administration.
• Experience with servers, operating systems, networks, scripting, XML, programming languages, job scheduling software, system monitoring software and disaster recovery/business continuity.
• Excellent customer service, technical troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline is preferred.
• Minimum of 3+ years’ relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert level remote management, administration and support for Client production Charles River IMS solutions.
• Client assistance in optimal use of the system; manage user administration/privileges.
• Configure parameters and monitor system availability; performance tuning.
• Apply patches and upgrades for Charles River IMS and databases.
• Assist with problem support, incident resolution and disaster recovery tasks.
• Coordinate with vendors and transition new Clients to production operation.
• Occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
