Job summary

Techniks Tool Group in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a customer service-oriented professional to support customers, provide technical information, and relay sales data such as prices and delivery dates.

You will represent the company professionally, process orders and RFQs, and collaborate with the team to expedite shipments while maintaining customer satisfaction. A bachelor’s or technical degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Technical degree preferred but not required.
• Ability to learn and retain product specific information as it pertains to the position.
• Epicor ERP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company in a positive and professional manner; build rapport and credibility with customers.
• Strong phone communication skills are an imperative component of this role.
• Responsible for processing customer orders and requests for quotations in an accurate and timely manner.
• Coordinate with team to expedite orders to meet customer demands.
• Assure satisfaction of both internal and external customers.
• Identify alternative solutions if the customer's initial request cannot be met.
• Cross reference competitors part numbers for customers.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by collaborating with coworkers, customers, supervisors, and all employees.
• Answer basic applications questions for customers.
• Facilitate customer returns and repairs - assign return authorization numbers according to procedure.
