Job summary

Pitney Bowes is hiring a Field Service Technician to service client installations and upgrades of shipping and mailing equipment. You will be client-facing and travel within the Buffalo region area, with a typical 8:00-5:00 schedule, some overtime.

The primary service area is within 2 hours of Buffalo, NY, with travel beyond occasionally required. You will repair and upgrade hardware and software, train clients on equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work environment while representing a

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs+ with or without accommodation.
• Travel up to 80% windshield time within a multi-zip code territory.
• Familiarity with Windows environment and basic PC networking (preferred).
• Experience with automated shipping equipment (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes shipping and mailing equipment.
• Support both hardware and software solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to reduce client callbacks.
• Train clients on Pitney Bowes equipment at installation.
• Work in a 100% client-facing capacity as a Pitney Bowes representative.
• Cover a multi-zip code territory with significant windshield time.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
