Job summary

Truist in Wilmington, NC is hiring a Regular Teller to deliver a distinctive client experience by handling transactions accurately and efficiently. You will educate customers on digital banking options and support outbound calls to identify needs and offer suitable solutions.

The role requires basic PC skills, weekend availability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced branch environment while upholding internal controls and service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversation and handling complex and standard transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound client outreach and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand the importance of Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in the Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Advance product knowledge through training and meetings to better serve clients.
• Adhere to internal controls, procedures and risk management policies.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
