Job summary

Truist Wealth in Clinton, NC seeks a Regular Teller to provide timely client transactions, accurate record keeping, and a courteous service experience while identifying clients' financial needs. You will educate clients on digital banking, support the sales process, and collaborate with branch teams to deliver Truist expertise while maintaining internal controls and compliance.

This role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and a willingness to travel for staffing needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master PC keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience by engaging clients with courteous conversations and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales by outbound calls and identifying client needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise.
• Participate in Retail Community Bank Leadership routines and training sessions.
• Advance product knowledge to better serve clients through meetings and training.
• Adhere to internal controls and risk management policies and stay compliant.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
