Job summary

Accorded is seeking an experienced Actuary to join its lean actuarial team in a client-facing role. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, building financial models, and communicating results effectively to client stakeholders.

This fully remote position values both analytical skills and relational abilities, requiring expertise in health actuarial science. The role includes developing insights for Medicare and Medicaid clients, with a focus on ambiguous and evolving methodologies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of actuarial experience in health, with consulting or payer background.
• Experience with value-based care or population health analytics.
• Ability to communicate with non-actuarial audiences effectively.

Responsibilities

• Execute client-facing actuarial analyses.
• Build and validate financial models.
• Own deliverables from data pull to client-ready output.
• Participate in client calls and translate complex concepts.
• Support scoping for new engagements.
• Collaborate to improve model infrastructure.
• Identify risks and propose solutions proactively.
