Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
• Successful completion of 4+ exams of the ASA designation
• ASA designation upon hire
• 5 years healthcare actuarial/analytics experience
• Experience with writing queries in SQL or another programming language
• Experience applying project management skills in data-related and financial analysis projects
• Experience working for a large health care provider or plan

Responsibilities

• Performs complex actuarial work with minimal supervision and delivers high quality results.
• Communicates findings and recommendations clearly to actuarial peers, leaders, and senior stakeholders.
• Takes full ownership of complex projects from planning through completion, anticipating dependencies, risks, and key decisions.
• Provides guidance to project teams and mentors junior analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrates emerging leadership by modeling accountability and collaboration across teams.
