Job summary

Aduro Advisors is seeking a skilled Accounting Manager to support top-tier clients in the Venture Capital & Private Equity space. You will join a client service team handling accounting, reporting, capital calls, and investor relations, with a focus on accuracy and timely delivery.

The role emphasizes client-facing responsibilities, collaboration with Controllers, and leveraging FundPanel and Box for documents and communications. A CPA, MBA, and strong problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in audit, alt asset industry, or fund administration.
• CPA certification or MBA a plus.
• Experience in a client-facing role supporting multiple clients.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service orientation.
• Experience with Xero and QuickBooks.
• Familiar with Box, GSuite, MS Office, Slack.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile banking transactions and prepare journal entries in US GAAP (Xero).
• Drive month-end close and raise follow-up questions to Controller or client.
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial statements.
• Manage client relationships in a client-facing role.
• Prepare and send investor correspondence using FundPanel (capital contributions, distributions, quarterly reports).
• Maintain investor and fund information in FundPanel.
• Maintain legal and investment documents in Box.
• Prepare documents for annual audit and tax process.
